3d printers and their application

One decade ago, 3D printing enthusiasts are convinced that cheap printers will stop quickly with a standard one equipped for everyone. Now the news that development is usually the smartest in industry, medicine or mechanics.

The systems of operation of these devices are still being improved and we still do not know exactly what the future will bring. We can, however, be certain that the increasingly spectacular successes of 3D printers will be a sensation in many industries for a long time.

Manufacturers of precision printers around the world compete not only in terms of meticulousness of the 3D design, but also in the types of raw materials used. Producers offers a synthetic resin print, but there are already devices that form gold, silver, steel or concrete. Work is also underway on conductive materials that react to temperature or humidity, but this is still a distant prospect. Similarly, in the case of 3D printing in advanced medicine, where in addition to models of organs or prostheses, research on the printing of organs and even vaccines is foreseen. And how will spatial printing affect the construction industry? Objects erected using 3D technology can significantly reduce energy consumption, reduce costs, and speed up the entire construction process. It is possible that we will set up houses in less than 24 hours.

Although the history of 3D printing had its beginning already in the 1980s, we can say that the direction of the development of the industry is still not completely known. Will the prices of equipment fall so much that cheap, economical 3D printers will be available for the average Kowalski? Or maybe cheap buildings printed in 3D technology will eliminate the phenomenon of homelessness? Will 3D technology revolutionize the face of the world that we know today? The future is still not entirely clear, but we can certainly expect spectacular things.
